A Welcome from Michael, Our Home Manager
Hello and welcome to Winton House.
As Home Manager, it’s my privilege to lead a dedicated team who put our residents at the heart of everything we do. My role is about more than ensuring smooth day-to-day running – it’s about creating a warm, supportive environment where people feel safe, valued and truly at home.
Every resident has their own story, and I take great pride in getting to know them and their families personally. This helps us shape the little details that make life here special, whether that’s a favourite activity, a cherished routine, or simply a friendly chat over a cup of tea.
I’m always happy to answer questions, show you around, or talk through the care options we offer. If you’re considering Winton House for yourself or a loved one, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – we’d be delighted to welcome you.
Warm regards,
Michael, Home Manager, Winton House

About Winton House
Winton House is a welcoming care home located in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, perfectly situated close to local amenities including parks, cafés and historic Windsor Castle. A bus stop directly outside the house provides easy access to the town centre’s shops, restaurants and social venues.
We offer day, respite and residential care, providing the very best comfort and support tailored to each individual’s needs. Our goal is to ensure every resident feels at home, valued and supported in maintaining their individuality and independence.
Your Home from Home
Winton House has 34 single bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, televisions, telephone points, a care-call bell system and profiling beds for maximum comfort. Residents are encouraged to bring personal touches such as small items of furniture, photographs or pictures to make their rooms uniquely theirs.
Alongside private rooms, residents enjoy bright communal lounges, inviting dining rooms, and a beautiful secure landscaped garden with outdoor seating – perfect for relaxing or enjoying our many activities.
Activities & Community Life
Life at Winton House is vibrant and sociable. We offer regular entertainment including reminiscence therapy, musical and movement sessions, flower arranging, arts and crafts, and more. Residents also enjoy regular day trips on our own minibus – past outings have included boat trips and visits to meet the animals at Odds Farm Park.
In the summer, our gardens come alive with our popular Summer Fair, which brings together residents, families and the wider local community for a day of fun and fundraising.
Professional Care & Services
Included in our prices are all the services you would expect: room cleaning, laundry, home-cooked meals, refreshments, daily social activities, entertainment, and above all, care from our professional and dedicated team – with no hidden extras, deposits or admin fees.
We also provide an in-house physiotherapy service at no additional cost, specialising in the rehabilitation of older people to improve mobility, confidence and comfort. In addition, we work closely with local professionals such as District Nurses, opticians, audiologists, hair stylists and podiatrists to ensure all our residents’ needs are met and exceeded.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore care options or ready to take the next step, we’re here to talk. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Winton House.
Dining & Nutrition
Good food is central to life at Winton House. Our chefs prepare wholesome, traditional, home-cooked meals using seasonal produce wherever possible. Menus are planned with input from residents and their families, with special diets fully catered for. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or, if preferred, served in a resident’s own room.
We also celebrate special occasions with themed meals and beautifully dressed tables – a highlight much loved by our residents.

Testimonials
“This home is a home you should be proud of.” Relative of a Resident
“I wish to thank you all for looking after my mum with such care, kindness and professionalism during her stay with you before she sadly passed away. When she arrived with you she was a frail lady but with your care she got back to a picture of her old self and got up and about and made new friends in your wonderful home. I cannot thank you all enough you are all wonderful.” Relative of a Resident
“My brother and I would like to say a massive thank you to you all for all the love and care you gave our Dad. You made a very difficult time more bearable as he was at home with all of you rather than being in hospital. Winton House will forever have a place in my heart” Relative of a Resident
