Abbeyfield Maidenhead is delighted to announce that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated Nicholas House Care Home Good in all five key areas of inspection. The home was assessed on its leadership, safety, effectiveness, responsiveness, and care, receiving an overall rating of Good in November of 2024.
The recent inspection highlighted the dedication of Abbeyfield Maidenhead’s team in providing high-quality care and a supportive, person-centred environment.
The CQC inspection highlighted the commitment of Abbeyfield Maidenhead’s staff, recognising the home’s nurturing atmosphere and focus on resident well-being. The report stated:
“Staff were well-trained and skilled to provide good-quality care. Residents were cared for by staff who were kind and caring and knew them well. There was a range of activities available for people and these were person-centred. Staff spoke favourably of the management team and felt listened to and consulted.”
