Welcome to the Winton House November 2025 Newsletter!
November has been another wonderfully busy month here at Winton House, filled with creativity, celebration, and heart-warming moments. We kicked off the month with a fantastic Fireworks Night, complete with a sparkling display and hot chocolate treats, followed by plenty of laughter during an entertaining Puppets 4 All performance.
Our residents enjoyed a variety of special outings and activities, including Pubs n Pastries at the Fox & Castle, a creative afternoon of pirate-themed arts and crafts, and a peaceful morning of flower arranging that brought beautiful colour and fragrance throughout our home.
We were honoured to hold a meaningful Remembrance Service with Rev. Rosie, and later welcomed a series of talented entertainers, including Gary Allen and the joyful Maideleles Ukulele Band, who had everyone singing and smiling. We also marked King Charles’ 77th birthday with a delicious afternoon tea, and of course, Barney’s visit for Pet Therapy brought cuddles and happiness all around.
As always, our activities team has been busy ensuring residents stay active, social, and engaged — from creative Christmas crafts with Purple Robin to themed celebrations like Pirate Day with Terry Gleed. And with a full calendar of festive events planned for December, there’s so much more to look forward to!
